The picture shows Buen Retiro Park in Madrid.
I took this photo while my family and I were going for a walk in the park. The landscape is really lovely and calm.
Before getting there we were sailing on the lake with canoes. There were a lot of ducks and we fed them with bread. After that we were walking in the park and visiting museums and monuments. Then we came to the place and I took this photo.
In front of the lake there is the monument to king Alfonso XII. In the central base of the monument are the statues of horse riders. The monument is situated on the east edge of an artificial lake near the center of the park. The monument is very tall: it measures 30 meters high, 86 meters long, and 58 meters wide.
I chose this photo because I love Buen Retiro Park. You can stay there walking, sailing, visiting places and there were a lot of grass to relax. I will visit it again because this summer was amazing.
